Mission Statement:
United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Out of the Purpose are four mission foci that relate to the mission initiatives and priorities of United Methodist Women.

At Centertown UMC, the UMW is an organization of church women dedicated to being God’s servants. They meet the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the church’s fellowship hall in order to plan activities associated with Samaritan’s Purse shoeboxes, VBS, meals and refreshments connected to church and community activities, mission supplies, back to school supplies, women’s conferences and a host of other church and community needs.
